Kosher Lunch (1 of 1)

Temple Beth El Sisterhood plays a vital role in the functioning of the Congregation. The Annual Kosher-Style Luncheon serves more than 5000 lunches to members of the community and raises funds to support education of our children. Sisterhood sponsors a rummage sale and Donor as well as other programs. Special funds for a variety of purposes including Campership, Cultural and Education, Prayer books, and Library, are also administered by Sisterhood. The objectives of this organization are:

  • To aid and cooperate with the congregation of Temple Beth El in its interests and purposes.
  • To promote the cause of Judaism.
  • To promote closer fellowship among its members.
  • To help in all charitable causes deemed worthy by the Board of Directors and approved by the general membership.
  • To abide by the constitution of the National Women of Reform Judaism General Meetings are generally held at a home of a sisterhood member.

The Sisterhood is governed by the Sisterhood Board. General Meetings are generally held at the home of a sisterhood member on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM. Meeting dates are subject to change. Please call the Temple Office at (831) 424-9151 for confirmation. We welcome both members and interested parties to attend all our general meetings and events.
